The color is ruby red with violet-bluish reflections. The bouquet is fine and at the same time complex. On the nose the floral and fruity notes are well balanced by an elegant spicy trait, aroma of Mediterranean scrub. This combination, together with an unusual saltiness, closes the wine in the finish with sapid notes.
In the mouth has a good tannicity, never invasive and always balanced, allowing the wine a great length. Montanaru ages about six months in 20 hectoliters barrels, optimal capacity for the fruit to remain harmonious and at the same time to increase the finesse of the bouquet.
